About Fran

Francesca Turauskis is a freelance podcast producer, a writer, and the Digital Editor for Pod Bible magazine.

She has worked on award-nominated shows including ‘Equal Too’ from Harder Than You Think, ‘Anthems’ from Broccoli Productions, ‘Wild For Scotland’, ‘Extraordinary Ordinary You’ and ‘The Everyday Adventure Podcast’.  She’s also made episodes for ‘Out There’, the New York Times featured ‘Ochenta Stories’.

Francesca is the Founder of Tremula Network, a group of podcasts focusing on underrepresented stories from the outdoors. Podcasts from the Network have been featured in: The Guardian Hear Here, Great British Podcast newsletter, Podcast Delivery, Adventure Uncovered, The Scottish Island Explorer, The Times, Scottish Field 2021 – And of course, Pod Bible!

She was a judge for the International Women’s Podcast Awards ’21, and was recently seen on a panel at the International Women’s Podcast Festival talking about how to get your podcast featured in the press.

Based in West Sussex, Francesca has been known to walk and run silly distances across countries, and has talked about her adventures with epilepsy on many podcasts and on stage.
