COME AND FALL IN LOVE WITH COLOUR! Back by popular demand after the first one sold out!! Spaces are limited so grab your ticket now and join experienced creative practitioner Aida Kaman as we explore ‘alcohol ink art!’ and create your very own heart shaped design on a medium sized tile (think large coaster) to take home with you on the day. They’ll also be the opportunity to add a written dedication, phrase or whatever you wish to personalise your creation.
This is a meditative, stress-relieving creative process which promotes letting go of perfectionism and embracing spontaneity. The flowing, unpredictable nature of the medium helps users relax and find calm through a focus on the process and the colours rather than the outcome. Find beauty in the present and experiment with the impermanence of patterns!
Let the light of colour move through the mind in a spirit of the Japanese word ‘KOMOREBI’ which describes the dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves of trees. The word captures the visual effect of the sunbeams and shadows creating a shifting, beautiful pattern on the ground.
You will create one tile which makes the ideal gift of love for a friend, loved one or as a gift to yourself!
