People from businesses and community organisations took the opportunity on Monday to meet the team who will operate Bognor Regis Creative Digital Hub – now named The_Track.
The event introduced Town Square Spaces, who will manage the shared and collaborative co-working space within Bognor Regis Railway Station.
Those attending also saw the new name and branding for The Track, produced by Hemingway Design and presented by Jack Hemingway.
Gareth Jones and Mandy Weston are the people behind Town Square Spaces, which successfully ran the Welsh Innovation Centre for Enterprise in Caerphilly and now manages the Wrexham Enterprise Hub on behalf of the Welsh Government.
Speaking at the meet-up, which took place at The Waverley Hotel in Bognor Regis, Gareth said: “It’s been a great evening and we’ve met a lot of fascinating people. We already knew that there was a great deal of interest and potential in the region, but meeting people and explaining our vision for the Hub has really hit home how much enthusiasm there is for the project.
“We’ve already begun engaging with the local business community in Bognor Regis, and as work on the Hub progresses, we envisage connecting with even more entrepreneurs and freelancers who may well end up basing themselves at The_Track.”
The project is being led by West Sussex County Council and delivered in partnership with the Coast to Capital LEP, Hemingway Design, Towns Square Spaces and Arun District Council.
The Track is due to open in Winter 2020. For more information about the project email: firstname.lastname@example.org
